Meaning
The ring features the Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception. Its design is inspired by the instructions the Virgin Mary is said to have given Saint Catherine Labouré, a nun of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, during a vision in 1830 on Rue du Bac in Paris.
The Miraculous Medal is a symbol of protection, faith and hope, associated with numerous miracles and blessings attributed to Mary’s intercession. The Virgin Mary is believed to intercede with God and protect those who wear it from spiritual and physical dangers. It is a symbol of Marian devotion and a constant reminder of divine grace and Mary’s maternal love.
