Meaning
The Miraculous Medal Necklace, also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, is inspired by the instructions said to have been given by the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré, a Sister of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, during an apparition that took place in 1830 on Rue du Bac in Paris.
The Miraculous Medal is a symbol of protection, faith and hope, associated with numerous miracles and graces attributed to the Virgin Mary’s intercession. Mary intercedes with God and protects those who wear the medal from spiritual and physical dangers. It is a symbol of Marian devotion and a constant reminder of divine grace and Mary’s maternal love.

Gold is a precious material renowned for its malleability and susceptibility to scratches. It is entirely normal for the appearance of the piece to change over time and show signs of wear.
As gold is particularly soft, we recommend avoiding stacking or overlapping your jewellery to prevent damage. Each piece should be stored in its original box to avoid contact with other potentially abrasive objects. Pieces belonging to the same set should also be stored separately.
