The Totus Tuus ring is inspired by the Latin motto used by Pope John Paul II to express his profound devotion to the Virgin Mary and his complete entrustment to her.
The ring is adorned with the Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception. Its design is inspired by the instructions said to have been given by the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré, a Sister of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, during an apparition that took place in 1830 on Rue du Bac in Paris.
The Miraculous Medal is a symbol of protection, faith and hope, associated with numerous miracles and graces attributed to the Virgin Mary’s intercession.
